have extensive experience across a wide range of industries and company sizes — from start-ups and mid-sized businesses to Fortune 500 corporations. The industries I have worked in include automotive, education, e-commerce, energy, finance, healthcare, IT and telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, public sector, arts, and culture.

Despite the diversity of these industries, systemic challenges and user needs are approximately 90% the same. For this reason, I am confident that my services can be successfully applied to other fields, such as mechanical engineering or real estate.

Target groups and applications

My services and trainings are designed for companies that develop or use software to support their digital products or services. They are ideal for businesses seeking to increase revenue and optimize their processes, recognizing that digitalization and sustainable development are key to achieving these goals.

Whether in software development, manufacturing, fintech, e-commerce, medtech, B2B services, or other industries, I customize proven methods, metrics, and models to fit your specific needs. Manufacturing industries may require a stronger focus on process optimization and leadership coaching, while e-commerce and service companies typically aim to enhance cross-team collaboration, service quality, and customer interactions.

My solutions are ideal for companies with 50 to 10,000 employees, as they often focus on optimizing and scaling their services and products. In this size range, my approaches are particularly effective in processes, systems, infrastructure, innovation, leadership, and employee recruitment, development, and retention.

Companies with fewer than 20 employees, which cover around 50% of the market in German-speaking countries, often focus on topics such as financing, network development, online marketing, and e-commerce platforms. These companies are not part of my core target group. I do not generally exclude companies with more than 10,000 employees. Although I have gained extensive experience in this environment, long decision-making processes and parallel cooperation with several consulting firms often make efficiency difficult.

Both terms are frequently mentioned in modern business strategies, and while they share some overlap, they serve different purposes.

Digital transformation focuses on integrating new technologies to reshape business models and processes – like leveraging AI or cloud solutions. Agile transformation, on the other hand, brings about cultural and organizational changes aimed at increasing flexibility and customer focus, often through shorter feedback loops.

In practice, these two approaches complement each other. Digital transformation becomes faster and more efficient when supported by agile methods, while agile principles are further strengthened and improved by the use of cutting-edge digital technologies. Together, they drive more powerful and sustainable results for your business.

The primary goal is to improve or make the company more profitable. It’s not about being “everyone’s darling” or stepping into the spotlight. Implementing services like Amazon S3 or frameworks like SAFe may sound concrete and promising, but frankly – blindly copying methods and tools rarely leads to optimal results.

Skepticism and resistance at the beginning are normal, as consultants are often brought in to address complex, seemingly unsolvable problems. Employees don’t want to feel observed, expect immediate solutions, and quietly fear for their positions. However, the consultant’s role is not to solve all problems or make decisions about jobs. Instead, it’s about empowering employees to actively participate in the transformation process, analyze value creation, and recognize and leverage their strengths. Only together can root causes, not just symptoms, be addressed— even if that means confronting uncomfortable truths.

Consultants provide a challenging yet necessary perspective to spark meaningful change. These changes—whether they involve strategies, structures, or processes—are crucial for making your company future-proof. This openness inevitably leads to friction and resistance, as change often occurs outside the comfort zone. Typically, initial team successes become evident within four to six weeks, and the early skepticism begins to fade.

In summary, I see the consultant as both a driver and a motivator for long-overdue changes

Working method and process

The process begins with a cross-organizational and cross-departmental analysis of your current IT and business processes. To achieve this, I conduct workshops with you and your employees to better understand specific pain points. I work closely with you and your team to identify the key problem areas.

Building on this, we develop an optimization strategy with a classic timeline roadmap and implement the identified action plans. This strategy is reviewed and adjusted regularly (every two weeks initially, later monthly) to ensure transparency, alignment, and effectiveness.

Your company is a core part of the entire consulting process. I work closely with your teams and leadership to ensure that actions are tailored to your specific needs and effectively implemented. This includes regular workshops, feedback sessions, and collaborative analyses to develop practical and impactful solutions.

This close collaboration enables a successful transformation, driven, implemented, and embraced by your employees. Together, we create a solid foundation for long-term success and continuous improvement of your business processes, even beyond my involvement.

Yes, I collaborate with other experts when needed. Many companies often lack strong technical input, whether in mobile development, Python, SAP, migration to AWS Cloud Services, or other areas. Frequently, the knowledge exists internally, but employees aren’t heard, don’t feel confident making high-quality decisions, or simply lack the authority to do so. This is often due to the absence of clear technical career paths.

In such cases, forming technical “tandems” can be beneficial. I have a network of trusted experts I can bring in when necessary. However, I firmly believe that many of the required skills already exist within your organization and should be leveraged effectively.

I work in a hybrid model from Vienna, Karlsruhe, or Berlin. Over the past five years, I have predominantly worked remotely, but I also value in-person collaboration. Meeting on-site not only helps build trust more directly but also enables more intensive collaboration. What has proven effective in the past is being on-site for about a week once per quarter.

For my daily work, I rely on a variety of tools that facilitate efficient and collaborative teamwork. These include ChatGPT 4, Jira, Zapier, Microsoft, Google, Miro, Canva, and Menti, among others. Dual monitors are essential for me, as they provide better oversight and allow for seamless multitasking.

Costs and benefits

My services aim to enhance the efficiency and productivity of your company, reduce costs, and sustainably increase customer satisfaction. Additionally, I support the development and motivation of your employees and leadership to ensure long-term success — even beyond my time with your organization.

The investment costs less than the value it brings to your business. The specific benefits are tailored to your needs and often become more apparent over time. For an initial impression, feel free to take a look at my references page.

The costs vary depending on the scope and duration of the engagement. After discussing your specific needs, company size, and previous transformation efforts, I can provide a realistic timeline and, following a detailed analysis, a precise proposal.

Transparency and flexibility are very important to me. For this reason, I offer a flexible “Pay-as-you-go” model with low entry barriers. My consulting packages are tailored to meet the unique needs and requirements of companies of all sizes.

A unique feature of my packages is their monthly cancelability. You can terminate the collaboration at any time if you feel your goals have been achieved or if a different direction is required. This model reflects my commitment to the highest level of customer satisfaction and demonstrates my confidence in the lasting impact of my consulting services.

I use specific, yet customized metrics and KPIs to measure the success of the initiatives. Success measurement is conducted regularly and includes both quantitative and qualitative indicators. Depending on the project, these may include metrics such as lead times, process optimizations, profit increases, or improvements in employee and customer satisfaction.

The selection of metrics depends on your specific goals and the quality of your existing data. Together, we define the relevant KPIs to make the progress and impact of the implemented measures transparent and understandable. This ensures that success is not only visible but also sustainable.

Engaging a consultant offers you three key advantages:

First: As an external consultant, I bring an objective perspective and extensive experience across various industries. Internal teams are often so deeply involved in daily operations that it becomes challenging to identify blind spots or break out of entrenched patterns. I help uncover these blind spots and develop innovative solutions that optimize your business processes and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Second: My independence from internal company politics and career ambitions allows me to address topics openly and honestly that might be overlooked or avoided internally. I can act without being constrained by internal structures, enabling me to highlight critical issues essential for progress.

Third: I bring up-to-date, cross-industry best practices, making the process more efficient and effective. This saves your company valuable time and resources by delivering fast, clear, and actionable results.

Duration and entry

Projects should generally be completed within 12 to 18 months. The duration depends on factors such as company size, maturity, complexity, and the overall willingness of employees to embrace change. Based on my experience, a full-time project (approximately 170 hours per month) for a company with around 100 employees typically takes about 3 months. In larger organizations with up to 5,000 employees, it can take 30 months or even up to five years.

My approach is: as much consulting as necessary, as little as possible. Neither you nor I have an interest in extending the consulting engagement longer than required. Successful transformations typically demand around 20% of a manager’s working time, which adds extra strain. For this reason, it often makes sense to limit the consulting duration strategically to save time and resources.

Even in smaller companies with 100 employees, a project can take up to 20 months if conducted on a part-time basis. Ultimately, the goal is to strike the right balance between thorough implementation and efficient use of resources.

Initial results are typically noticeable and measurable within a few weeks to a few months. How quickly they become evident depends on the complexity of the project and the scope of the goals being pursued. For smaller optimizations, such as improving processes or introducing new tools, measurable progress can often be observed within weeks. For more extensive transformations, such as restructuring departments or implementing new business models, it may take longer for significant results to become visible.

In any case, I focus on defining clear indicators and KPIs early on, so you can continuously track progress.
