Professional Experience
Early Career (2007 – 2019):
My professional journey began in customer support at an automated hedge fund firm, where I discovered my passion for technology and design. This motivated me to venture into web design and create my first homepages — back then still with HTML. Later, I gained experience as a lecturer in product design. I then deepened my expertise by working as a Product Manager in the apps and games sector for three years.
Leadership Roles (2019 – 2022):
As a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, and Release Train Engineer (RTE), I led significant agile, hybrid, and digital transformations for corporations and institutions at the world’s largest IT consulting firm. My responsibilities included conducting Big Room Plannings, workshops, and training sessions — both on-site and online. This allowed me to help teams develop more efficient work processes and achieve their goals in a focused manner.
Entrepreneurship (since 2022):
Since May 2022, I have been channeling my experience and passion as the founder of a consulting and training company. With 17 years of IT experience, we help companies with 50 to 10,000 employees establish modern structures and processes within three to six months — enabling sustainable profit growth within 12 to 18 months. How We Achieve This:
- Optimized Work Processes and Systems: Increasing efficiency through clearly structured and streamlined workflows.
- IT Integration and Automation: Seamless system connectivity and automation of recurring tasks for maximum productivity.
- Employee and Leadership Development: Targeted training and development to build productive, motivated teams.
Industry Expertise & Focus
I have worked in industries such as automotive, education, e-commerce, energy, finance, healthcare, IT & telecommunications, public service, pharmaceuticals, as well as arts and culture. What have I learned from this diversity? Despite the wide range of fields, 90% of systemic and process-related challenges are surprisingly similar. The remaining differences often stem from varying compliance requirements.
However, solution design is always unique because companies are historically grown organisms. Sometimes, they need more of one thing and sometimes more of another to become faster—and in turn, happier, clearer, simpler, and, in a way, more beautiful. My focus is on developing solutions tailored to your specific challenges.
Education & Certifications
As a child, my strengths were in math, art, and sports. Since earning a living in athletics is challenging, and I didn’t want to follow my father and brother directly into IT, I pursued a B.Sc. in Finance (Frankfurt) and an M.A. in Arts (London), along with numerous certifications, including…
- Advanced AI Product Management & Leadership (2024)
- Lean Six Sigma, Yellow, Green, Black Belt (2021 – 2024)
- Professional Agile Coaching & Facilitation (2020)
- Scaled Program Consultant & Leading SAFe (2020)
- Kanban System Design & Improvement (2019)
- Professional Scrum Master & Product Owner (2018)
- User Experience Design (2016)
- HTML/Web Design (2012 – 2013)
My Strengths & Challenges
According to my Gallup personality test, adaptability, achievement orientation, and positivity are among my strengths. These qualities enable me to navigate confidently in dynamic environments and build sustainable, trustworthy relationships.
I am aware that I sometimes tend to respond in a direct and emotional way. However, I use this trait deliberately to foster clear, open, and honest communication.
Detailed, meticulous tasks, such as correcting spelling errors, are definitely not among my strengths. My strength lies in seeing the bigger picture: understanding complex interconnections, technical systems, and deep psychological questions.
Am I a Good Fit for You?
My drive, combined with a passion for positive change, makes me the ideal partner for entrepreneurs who want and need to make a difference. With the ability to quickly and systematically grasp complex issues, I focus on delivering tangible results.
I consciously distance myself from the typical ivory tower consulting that provides impressive strategies without concrete end-to-end implementation, as well as from training institutions offering one-size-fits-all solutions. My mission is to integrate technology meaningfully into business processes, promote efficiency and innovation, and always keep the human element at the center.
My core Principles after 17 Years of Experience
Fix the Basics First
Just like building a house, a solid foundation is crucial. Every cornerstone must be stable and as rust-free as possible to support the structure. Poor integrations, technical debt, or conflicts at the leadership level act like cracks in the foundation, jeopardizing sustainable growth.
Ideas over Hierarchy
Great ideas matter more than titles, work experience, or the power of the organizational chart. Innovation thrives when ideas can flow freely across all levels of a company. It is crucial to identify valuable ideas promptly and implement them consistently, regardless of market conditions.
Trust in Metrics
Metrics are the compass of our transformation journey—not opinions, methods, or theories. They provide a clear direction and help us stay objectively on course. Focusing on a few relevant and actionable key metrics ensures that decisions are made with precision and purpose.
Change Requires Courage
Change is often uncomfortable. It demands courage, takes time, and requires effort. The faster you transform, the more challenging it becomes. However, being overtaken by the competition is equally painful. Find the pace that suits your organization—the view from the top is worth it.
Success Takes Time
Success takes time, patience, and consistent care. Only under optimal conditions—or with the right techniques and discipline—can fruits truly thrive. No matter the approach, eventually, you will reap the rewards of your efforts.
Humanity
At the heart of every piece of software are people creating software for other people. The human factor should always be the focus, as satisfied and motivated employees produce the best products.
Tailored Solutions for Your Challenges
I don’t believe in off-the-shelf solutions but in tailored, in-house approaches. While challenges and user needs are 90% similar, the solution in terms of priorities and scope is always unique to each company.
I take an integrative approach, utilizing a variety of methods—from traditional management to agile and AI-driven implementations—across product, change, and portfolio management.
